The Douglas County Genealogy Club is a group of people from a variety of backgrounds that share a common interest in genealogy.
We hold monthly meetings, most at the Superior Public Library, on the first Tuesday of every month. (Occasionally the day changes due to holiday conflicts.)
Our meetings normally consist of a business meeting followed by a genealogy based program. We sometimes bring in outside speakers. Our members often lead presentations and some times we have group activities or field trips.
Meetings are free to attend and we hope that if you enjoy the club that you consider becoming a member.
Dues are very affordable at only $10 per year, per person.
What you may get in return is priceless.
This will be an unscheduled, randomly added to blog about genealogy. Have something to add? Contact me through our contact page. We would love to add other people's thoughts and words.
Meet at 6:00 p.m. @
Due to the precautions ordered for the COVID-19 pandemic the April meeting is cancelled.
Check back for following months.
We have many long-time genealogists in the club.
We are very happy to share our knowledge with you.
And we are interested in your stories as well.
